Overall Market Situation

Demand for precision transmission components continues to expand as industrial automation, intelligent manufacturing, new energy vehicles and semiconductor equipment develop. As a core component of precision transmission systems, ball screws are seeing sustained growth in demand.

Four Technology Directions

1. Higher accuracy

As semiconductor equipment, precision measuring instruments and optical processing equipment raise their motion accuracy demands, the share of C3 and C5 ground screws keeps rising. MOSIONX SFAR ground screws reach C5 accuracy with positioning accuracy to ±0.005mm/300mm.

2. Higher speed

High-speed machining centres, high-speed injection moulding and high-speed dispensing equipment demand ever higher screw speed. Large-lead screws (lead 20mm, 25mm, 40mm) are growing strongly, with linear speeds up to 120m/min.

3. Longer life

Through better raceway heat treatment, higher-grade steel balls and improved lubrication design, rated life has improved more than 50% over the past decade. MOSIONX screws use imported bearing steel with special heat treatment reaching HRC58-62.

4. Intelligent condition monitoring

Smart ball screws with condition monitoring are entering the market, using built-in sensors to track screw temperature, vibration and lubrication state in real time, enabling predictive maintenance.
